The centrepiece of Ionized water is its antioxidant properties. Alkaline Ionized water contains hydroxyl ions that are negatively charged. These ions exist in the form of oxygen molecules that have gained an electron, therefore making it an Antioxidant capable of scavenging for free radicals (oxygen molecules that possess only one electron), wihich cause all living beings to age and fall victim to disease.
