An Important Message to All Concerned Pet Owners

There's more to helping our animal companions lead an optimally healthy lives. It is more than "surviving". It is about being "truly healthy" and achieving the state of Wellness. Here are simple steps we can take.

  • Get to the causes of health risks and weakness
  • Help boost your companion’s defenses
  • Protect against chronic disease and illness
  • Help build strong teeth, bones, and joints

Detoxification is a natural part of the healing process that should be assisted and not stopped.

Every day your pet absorbs a host of toxins, whether it is from their food or their environment, which their body must struggle to expel. The more toxins they absorb, the more their body needs real nutrition to help their immune system do its job.

Have you ever wandered why your pet smells more than usual, why your pet is eating grass and vomiting almost daily, why do some pets seem to have flaky skin or dull coats, or maybe you have noticed a fatty tumour or cyst somewhere on your pet. This is their body working to push out toxins and waste materials by a natural process called detoxication.

When your Pet’s system becomes over-burdened and cannot eliminate waste through normal digestive and urinary channels, the body attempts to push it away by extraordinary methods. If pushed through the skin, we see rashes, dandruff, oily coat or pustules. If pushed through mucous membranes, we see runny eyes, nose, or mucus discharge. The process of detoxication is often viewed as symptoms of illness that need to be remedied. Eye drops for runny eyes, dandruff shampoo for flaky skin, surgical removal of cysts, and so forth. When the immune system becomes blocked or exhausted by the shortage of nutrients it needs, the toxins begin to reside in body tissues, precipitating more severe diseases.

You are what you eat.

In today’s market, most pet foods can be compared to fast food. It is highly processed with chemicals, additives, preservatives, sugar, and excess salt. The meat is commonly referred to as the 4 D’s (dead, diseased, disabled, and dying). Dr. Noo even adds a fifth D for drugged. So, needless to say most of the nutritional content has been refined from our pet’s food. Even with a raw and/or natural diet there may be a need for additional supplementation to buffer loss of vitamins and minerals from our companions' systems.
