Accomodation

A typical stay at NADC

During the day, each Pooch will enjoy frolicking with friends in our play area or a large adjacent field, and will be let out for potty breaks at least 3 times/day. There is limited capacity in our cattery as only 3 cats at any one time can be accomodated.

Meals

It is in your pooches'/ mewmews' interest that we adhere as much as possible to stipulated meal times set forth for them. And we cannot stress enough how important it is to bring your pooches'/MewMew's food with you to prevent unnecessary digestive adjustment/stress and upset tummy. If you do not bring food with you, we will serve Azmira dog food in replacement at a surcharge. Snacks will be given 2 to 3 times a day (depending on health status, activity level and age of dog/cat). In addition, we will administer oral and topical prescribed medications at no additional charge.

Bedding

Being housed in an 24-hour air-condtioned environment, we recommend that you bring favourite blankets and bedding to help your pooch/mewmew adjust to being away from you and from home. However, if you prefer not to bring your pooches'/mewmews' own bedding, we will provide fresh cotton towels daily for ultimate comfort during their stay with us.

Vaccinations & Hygiene Practices

We require the following up-to-date canine or feline vaccinations: rabies, bordetella, parvo, distemper, or proof of titers. A flea & tick and heartworm medication is strongly advised. All pooches/ mewmews will be examined for fleas or ticks upon arrival, and thereafter sent for the check-in fleas & ticks dip.

Our housing area is fogged weekly and neem spray will be used on all pooches (mewsmews with tea tree powder) to deter flea and tick infestations.

Shampoo sessions are given to pooches/ mewmews staying for at least 3 days. All pooches/ mewmews staying for at least 12 days will receive hot oil treatments on top of the shampoo sessions.

In order to be eligible for group activity during the day, your pooch must not display any aggressive tendencies towards other dogs or people. Mewmews get their exercise from cat furniture in the cattery thus they are not let out unless necessary.
